- Make sure all freight is accounted for before signing, if not, note it on freight paperwork
- Knowledge of Eagle Browser and how to navigate between programs
- Use the RF gun to match product from the pack slip to the Purchase Order
- Call the vendor if there is an overage/shortage
- Check in freight in a timely manner, no more than 5 days out on receiving log
- Maintains inventory and shipping records by completing logs.
- Pull the product and have it ready to ship (boxed or palletized) before truck arrives
- Have the transfer paperwork prepared
- Assist the driver, if needed, with unloading/loading
- Safely pack fragile items (guns, food, etc.)
- Understand Request Mode, Ship Mode, and Complete Mode
- Understanding the difference between POS-yes defective items that are shipped back to the warehouse or POS-no defective items that are handled at the store
- POS-yes, ship those item back to the Corporate Warehouse Defective Department
- POS-no, you contact the vendor for a Return Authorization
- Customer returns that are defective, must come back to the warehouse
- Contact your manager or the defective department if you are unsure on how to handle
